Istanbul - Erzurum - Kars - Van - Mardin - Sanliurfa - Kahta - Antakya - Adana

Day 1: Arrival to Istanbul

Arrival at Ataturk Airport and transfer to hotel with a short panoramic tour of old town, overnight in Istanbul

Day 2: Istanbul – Trabzon - Erzurum

After breakfast transfer to Ataturk Airport for flight to Trabzon. Upon arrival to Erzurum, you will visit the Sumela Monastery. This Byzantine monument was built in the 14th Century and it’s situated on a cliff 1000 feet above the valley floor. Overnight in Erzurum.

Day 3: Erzurum – Kars

After breakfast, today’s visits take you to discover the largest city in Anatolia. You will visit Cifte Minare Mosque and Grand Mosque Afternoon drive to Kars and the last visit is the Ani Ancient site. Overnight in Kars.

Day 4: Kars – Dogubeyazit – Van

After breakfast, your tour travels to Van via Dogubeyazit. Where you will stop for a breathtaking view of Mt. Ararat throught to be the final resting place of Noahs Ark. And, you will visit The Impressive Palace called Ishak Pasha. Overnight in Van.

Day 5: Van

After breakfast, full day free for leisure. Overnight in Van

Day 6: Van

After breakfast, you will have a full day tour to explore the city: Lake Van is the largest lake of Turkey. Enjoy a morning cruise on Lake Van towards the Island Akdamar with its 10th century church of the Holy Cross. Afternoon you will see the Van Castle from 9th century BC is located on one of the peaks of rock-strewn mountains. Overnight in Van.

Day 7: Van – Mardin

After breakfast, depature for Mardin where you will visit the Mor Gabriel Monastery which is the oldest surviving Syriac Orthodox monastery in the world. The last visit of the day is Hasankeyf which is archeological site is flooded with the completion of the Ilisu Dam. Overnight in Mardin.

Day 8: Mardin - Sanliurfa

After breakfast, you will departure from Mardin with the visits of the golden stone Mardin Houses blend in the rock of the hills on which the city is built. Then you will visit the Deyrulzafaran Syrian orthodoxe Metropolit Monastery. And drive to Sanliurfa for overnight.

Day 9: Sanliurfa – Harran - Sanliurfa

After breakfast, today’s dedicated to the city of Prophet Abraham. You can visit the Halil Rahman Mosque, the sacred fish pool and the Old Bazaar. And drive to Harran you can walk through the village with its fortress, old Islamic school and faboulous houses. Overnight in Sanliurfa.

Day 10: Sanliurfa – Kahta

After breakfast, drive to Kahta for a beautiful sunset at the Commangene Nemrut, a peak in anti-Taurus range rising to hight of 7.000 feet, the tumulus of Mithridates. Overnight in hotel in Kahta

Day 11: Kahta – Antakya

After breakfast, departure to Antakya (Antioch on the Orontes) via Gaziantep where you will visit the Archeology Museum of the city. Overnight in Antakya.

Day 12: Antakya

After breakfast, free day for leisure. Overnight in Antioch

Day 13: Antakya

After breakfast, full day city tour including the visits of the Cave Church of St Pierre, Mosaic Museum, and city tour with Orthodox Church and first Anatolian mosque, Habib-i Neccar. Overnight in Antakya.

Day 14: Antakya – Tarsus - Adana

After breakfast, drive to Adana via Tarsus. Today’s visits are Cleopatra gate, St Paul church and well. Overnight in Adana

Day 15: Departure from Adana

After breakfast, transfer to Adana Airport for flight to Istanbul and onwards to your country.
